WHAT DO WE DO?
The Community Healing Resource Center (CHRC) Network uses a community-based,
trauma informed, culturally competent approach to reduce violence, promote healing,
and build resilience. By leveraging existing Community Healing Resource Centers
exercise the of best features of community safety, community health and
community organizing to deliver quality services and resources to survivors
(especially gun violence survivors) of trauma with compassion, respect, and care.

Our Commitment to the Community
Community Healing Resource staff members accompany trauma survivors in their journey of rebuilding, restoring, and strengthening their sense of safety. CHRCs staff members provide trauma-informed care by acknowledging how past and present traumatic experiences and stress may impact the individuals and families served. CHRC staff is equipped to support the unique needs of survivors and their families.
